Japanese Kutani Geisha Girl Teacup and Saucer

Made in Japan, this eggshell thin porcelain teacup and saucer set predates the first World War. These sets were manufactured for export and are intricately hand-painted. The teacup is 3.75-inches in diameter and the saucer is 6-inches in diameter. These sets are often identified as Nakashima and Takito as well. This set does not contain a lithophane and is in excellent condition. It comes from a collection belonging to a woman who kept her pieces well protected, and it shows in the brightness of the painting.
